Opportunities to serve or volunteer

Community Council

Parents can volunteer or serve on the community council by agreeing to be put on the election ballot the first week of school. The community council members plan and spend the school land trust money, about $89,000 this year. The community council meets once a month for about an hour.

Classrooms

Parents can talk with their child's teacher to see ways to help in the classroom. Individual teachers would be able to communicate with parents how they need parental support.

PTA

The Mt. Pleasant PTA is always looking for volunteers to serve. They do many activities throughout the school year that supports the elementary and the students. Look for the Mt. Pleasant PTA webpage on the school website under the parent tab.
